Have you thanked a teacher today?

Teachers have a special place in my heart, especially the teachers of my own children. When this teacher asked if I would photograph her family I jumped at the chance. I was so grateful for the amazing work she did challenging my son to step up his game and I’ve loved her ever since! I’d also been wanting to photograph her girls for years. They are an amazing combination of smart and funny and they make me laugh every time I see them. This day was no exception. The four year old did her best to please and the two year old had her own agenda, but that is totally normal and that is why it was so fun.

So as we count down the days to the end of school and the beginning of summer vacation, let’s give thanks for the wonderful teachers who work hard for our kids.
